We need your help as a volunteer judge or steward!

Judges sample entries, evaluate them versus the written style guidelines, and fill in scoresheets. Stewards assist judges (and usually get to sample too). No experience is necessary as all novice judges will be paired with a certified judge. We welcome anyone 21+.

There will be 2 sessions of judging going from approximately 8:30am-12pm and 1pm-4:30pm. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers, along with some special gifts (and homebrew).

We ask that Judges and Stewards take public transportation to the judging location. If this is not possible, however, we will reimburse you for parking the day of the competition for volunteers from outside the area served by the MBTA (outside rt 128).

All volunteers must be 21 years old or older

Please pay attention to the notes provided for each drop-off location. There could be earlier deadlines for some drop-off locations listed, particular hours when entries are accepted, certain individuals to leave your entries with, etc. All entrants are responsible for reading the information provided by the organizers for each drop-off location.
